The Air Ambulance joined West Midlands Ambulance Service, West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service at an incident in Shobdon yesterday evening.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Kingsland Fire Station was called at 19:51 on 31 May to Shobdon to assist the ambulance service.

“A teenage male casualty had come off his pushbike and fallen into a ditch approximately three metres deep. The casualty was rescued from the dry ditch using lines and a triple extension ladder before being handed over to paramedics. The incident was marked as pending closure at 20:33.”
