The air ambulance has been called to a collision on the A49 this afternoon.

The collision occurred between Craven Arms and Church Stretton in Shropshire.

West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service both attended the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“At 12.51pm an ambulance crew came across at RTC involving at car and a motorbike on the A49 in Felhampton, Church Stretton.

“We also sent an ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Tatenhill to the scene.

“On arrival crews found a man, the motorcyclist, and treated him for serious injuries before he was conveyed by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.”
