Emergency services are responding to a collision on a busy route in Herefordshire this lunchtime.

The incident has occurred on the A480 between Credenhill and Sarnesfield.

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are all in attendance.

The Air Ambulance was also called to the incident. 

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route. 

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:  

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Kington and Eardisley Fire Stations – were called at 10:28 on 21 October to an RTC in Norton Canon. 

“The incident involved one vehicle, which was on its roof, with two casualties, one male and one female, medically trapped. 

“Both were extricated from the vehicle and handed over to the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police and air ambulance. 

“The road was closed at the incident. The incident was marked as pending closure at 11:27.”
