The A417 has reopened between Parkway (near Ledbury) and the M50 this morning following an earlier collision.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police confirmed that the road had reopened and said:
“At 6.25am today (Tuesday 30 November) officers received a report of a collision between two cars on the A417 between Parkway and Bromsberrow.
“The road was closed while officers and West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene.
“One person attended Hereford County Hospital with a minor injury.
“One of the cars was recovered and the road reopened around 8am.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 6:27am to reports of a RTC on the A417 in Parkway. We sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene and are currently treating two patients for minor injuries.”
Meanwhile, earlier Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service updated us by saying:
“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ledbury Fire Station and a Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Newent were called to an RTC on the A417 at Parkway near Ledbury at 06:40 on 30 November. The incident involved three vehicles, two of which had left the carriageway. All vehicles were on all four wheels and no-one was trapped. As at 07:09the road was closed in both directions awaiting the arrival of an ambulance which is now on scene.”
