A touching tribute to our fallen was held around the Commonwealth graves at sunset in Kington Cemetery on VE Day.
The act of remembrance, which featured a short service and the lighting of candles on the 13 Commonwealth graves was organised by the Kington and District Branch of the Royal British Legion.
On Sunday May 11th there will be a service at Kington Memorial to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
Anyone wishing to take part in the parade will need to be at the Town Clock for 10:30am.
Anyone wishing to pay their respects will need to be at the war memorial from 10:45am.
