A toilet block in the centre of Hereford is set to be remodelled to house three homeless sleeper pods.
Herefordshire Council has submitted a planning application to turn the public toilets on East Street in Hereford, into three homeless sleeper pods.
The toilets, located at the rear of the Queens pub, are currently out of use.
The application, submitted by Herefordshire Council states:
“Change of use, remodel and refurbishment of redundant former public conveniences to provide 3 number temporary homeless sleeper pods.”
