NEWS | A number of travellers have pitched up on a field in Hereford this evening with an update provided

Update – 11.40pm: A football club has provided an update on football training after travellers pitched up on Belmont Abbey field.

From Toros FC:

Update – Mini Messi’s – Sunday April 13th – 10am-11am

The session will now take place at Bishops Meadow Community Sports Park in Wye St.

Parking is not free but everyone is welcome to attend from 10am-11am.

Thanks to Bishops Meadow for letting us use their facilities at short notice.

We hope to resume normal sessions next week week but we will keep you updated.

A number of travellers have pitched up on a field in Hereford this evening.

Toros FC have shared an update on Facebook this evening stating that a number of caravans have been parked on the private Belmont Abbey play fields.

A post on Facebook said:

“Disappointed to say that due to a number of caravans that have moved onto the private Abbey playing fields Mini Messi’s is cancelled.

“Unfortunately members of our club have been threatened and we will not take any risks.”
