A number of streets in Hereford will be closed to traffic later today, due to an event taking place in the city centre.
Hereford will host a large scale St George’s Day Parade this afternoon, with a number of routes temporarily closed.
The annual Scout and Guide St George’s Day Parade and Service will take place from 2pm.
Quay Street, Castle Street, St Ethelbert Street, St Owen Street, Cantilupe Road, Peters Square, Union Street, Gaol Street, St Peters Street and Broad Street will all be closed from 2.15pm-3pm for the parade to take place.
Members of the public are invited to come along and view the parade which will pass through the city centre and surrounding streets.
Motorists are advised to expect some minor delays for a short period of time this afternoon.
