West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided a major update following an incident at Hereford Railway Station on Wednesday evening.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were all called to the incident at just before 8pm.
All trains were cancelled / suspended until around 10pm.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 7.50pm to an incident at Hereford Railway Station.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic, two BASICS emergency doctors and a Critical Care Car from Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene.
“Upon arrival we found a man with life-threatening injuries.
“He received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.”
