West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that a man has died following a medical emergency in Ledbury this morning.

Members of the public reported seeing a police presence in the town, with paramedics also attending the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called at 9:42am to reports of a medical emergency at The Homend. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) trauma doctor.

“Crews administered advanced life support but sadly, despite the best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased on scene.”
