West Mercia Police have charged a man with arson with intent to endanger life following an incident in Malvern.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“A man has been charged following a house fire in Malvern.
“Matthew Wright, 26 from Clayfield Drive, Malvern, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
“He is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on today (Saturday 18 March).
“In the early hours of Tuesday 7 March police attended a report of a house fire in Worcester Road. No-one was injured in the fire.”
