A Herefordshire pub has taken the decision to only open at the weekend in January, due to increased running costs and less customers coming through the door.
The Plough Inn, based in Little Dewchurch in Herefordshire, confirmed the news in a post on Facebook.
The post said:
“Due to ever increasing running costs and less customers during January we will now only be opening at weekends.
“Saturday 2.00pm till 11.00pm & Sunday 12.30 till 5.30pm
“A big thank you to all our customers who continue to support their local pub.”
Fortunately, the change in opening hours is only expected to be temporary.
