COVID-19 infection rates across Herefordshire are continuing to fall from the extremely high levels seen at the start of this year. Here is a look at the current COVID-19 infection rate in Ledbury and the surrounding area, in comparison to the start of the year.
LEDBURY: In the seven days ending 12th February, Ledbury recorded 8 new cases of COVID-19, meaning that the infection rate was 79.6 cases per 100,000 population. This is significantly down on the start of the year when infection rates were at 228.8 cases per 100,000 population on the 1st January.
COLWALL, CRADLEY & WELLINGTON HEATH: In the seven days ending 12th February, the Colwall, Cradley & Wellington Heath area recorded less than three new cases of COVID-19, meaning that the COVID-19 infection rate in the area was ‘supressed’ or 0. This is down on the start of this year when infection rates were at 68.6 cases per 100,000 population on the 1st January.
MALVERN WELLS & PRIORY: In the seven days ending 12th February, the Malvern Wells & Priory area recorded less than three new cases of COVID-19, meaning that the COVID-19 infection rate in the area was ‘supressed’ or 0. This is significantly down on the start of this year when infection rates were at 253.4 cases per 100,000 population on the 1st January.
DYMOCK, HARTPURY & HUNTLEY: In the seven days ending 12th February, this area recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19, meaning that the infection rate was 38.8 cases per 100,000 population. This is significantly down on the start of the year when infection rates were at 562.7 cases per 100,000 population on the 1st January.
