A busy rush hour is expected in Hereford this afternoon, with emergency roadworks on Newmarket Street causing delays.
The route is regularly congested, especially on a Friday afternoon and the lane closure is expected to cause further problems. Welsh Water are repairing a burst water main and there is currently no predicted end time to the works.
The footpath connecting Tesco on Bewell Street with the Old Market Shopping Centre is also closed.
