It’s been a busy 24 hours for Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service crews in Herefordshire, with several call outs.

At 11:18 today, crews were called to Hereford Road in Leominster. Crew tackled a fire in the open involving an arm chair. Crews extinguished the fire using water backpacks and dampened down the surrounding area.

At 09:36, crews from Kington and Eardisley were called to Mahollem (Kington) to attend a shed fire. All equipment and materials were removed and the fire has been extinguished and dampened down.

Yesterday afternoon, crews from Peterchurch and Ewyas Harold attended a chimney fire in Clodock. 9m ladder, HRJ with chimney rose used. Wood burner dismantled and property checked with thermal camera. The owners treated fire crews with a hot drink to say thank you!

Yesterday evening, crews from Hereford were called to Highmore Street on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service, to support with a medical emergency.
