A body has been found in the search for a woman who had been reported missing from Nailsworth.
Police had been searching for 64-year-old Maureen Barcham after she had not been seen since 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 July).
A body was recovered from water at Woodchester Park earlier today (Wednesday 5 July) and Maureen’s next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Officers have thanked the Severn Area Rescue Association and National Police Air Service for their assistance with the searches.
