A body found on The Lines in Hereford yesterday is believed to be missing Herefordshire man Shane McGinlay.
Formal identification hasn’t yet taken place but Shane’s family have been informed.
45-year-old Shane has been missing from Hereford since 30 November 2022.
A body was discovered shortly after 11am yesterday morning by a member of the public.
The path was closed and a scene guard put in place while initial investigations took place. The road re-opened shortly before 6pm.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
