West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fatal collision.
At 5.30am this morning a white Mercedes C220 and a white Ford Mondeo collided on the B4211 Worcester Road opposite Rydd Gardens, near Hanley Castle in Worcestershire.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 37-year-old man, sadly died of his injuries.
The driver of the Mercedes was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dash-cam footage of it, or of either of the vehicles driving in the minutes before the collision.
