Public Health England have confirmed that 68 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Herefordshire, taking the total number of cases of the virus recorded in the county to 3,338 since the start of the outbreak. Last Wednesday, 63 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Herefordshire.

It means that 404 cases of the virus have been recorded in the past seven days in the county.

UK records 50,023 cases – down from 53,135 cases recorded yesterday.

981 daily COVID-19 related deaths in UK – a significant jump from yesterday’s 414. It is the highest figure since 24 April.
