16 further cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Herefordshire, taking the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 to 1,507 since the start of the pandemic.
The good news is that todays figure of 16 new cases is below the 20 new cases that were recorded yesterday and the 35 new cases that were recorded on Thursday.
The UK has recorded a further 21,915 cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic to over a million.
NHS England has confirmed that one further COVID-19 related death has been recorded at a hospital in Herefordshire, taking the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the county to 65 since the start of the pandemic.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will address the nation at 5pm and he is expected to announce a second lockdown that will last until the 2nd December.
