West Mercia Search and Rescue have joined West Mercia Police officers in the search for a missing man in South Shropshire.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Search and Rescue said:
“Specialist land search teams are supporting @WMerciaPolice with a continued search for a highly vulnerable missing person in the Church Stretton area.”
Officers searching for missing Church Stretton man Christopher Jiggins have new information about when he was last seen.
Further to enquiries it has been established that Christopher was last seen near to the Family Shopper in Sandford Avenue at around 8.15am Monday morning (30 October).
Police ask anybody who was in the area at that time who recalls seeing him to contact them. Police are also keen to speak to anyone who has seen or heard from him since.
The 56-year-old was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, shorts and boots.
He is a well-built white male, bald and has a distinctive moustache.
