Hereford High Town is cordoned off this afternoon following an incident at a property in the area.
Armed Police are situated outside Santander Bank and West Mercia Police officers and West Midlands Ambulance Service are also at the scene.
There appears to be some sort of stand off between an individual/group and the police.
Members of the public have been evacuated from the city centre and have been asked to avoid the area.
Emergency services were called at around 3pm this afternoon.
