About this Job

“This is an opportunity for you to join our friendly Warehouse Team as a Stock Controller/Merchandiser.

“You’ll be working in a fun and fast-paced environment alongside our existing team of Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers.

“Your main focus will be to ensure the effective utilisation of stock and space in our Hereford Warehouse, you will also be required to support with general warehouse duties as per business requirements.

“You will possess excellent customer service skill and take pride in your work and working environment. You will have a keen eye for detail and a growth mindset.

“You will have relevant experience in a warehouse stock controller/merchandiser role and will have the ability to describe your planning and working processes.

“The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job including (but not limited to), lifting, using step ladders and operating machinery.”

Responsibilities and Duties

To support with the annual stocktake

To review stock usage reports to plan and execute stock movement as required.

To keep accurate and up-to-date stock records.

Report of stock errors and discrepancies.

Constantly review existing process and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

Positive, hardworking, and enthusiastic attitude.

Previous experience in Warehouse Stock Control/Merchandising is a must – we are looking for a minimum of 2 years.

Full UK Driving License is not necessary but may be beneficial in future.

Forklift license is not necessary but may be beneficial in future.

Good communication skills and excellent levels of customer service.

Additional Warehouse Duties

Picking off orders using our ride-on picking trucks.

Packing and loading of orders onto our own delivery vans.

Assist with maintaining warehouse and yard standards.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

08:00 – 18:00 (Flexibility will be required. Overtime sometimes required – paid)

Holidays

29 days (inc. Bank Holidays)
