Police are investigating after a man was injured on Edgar Street in Hereford on Christmas Eve (24th December).
The incident happened on Christmas Eve (Tuesday), shortly before 4pm, when a man was hit by a car. It’s believed the man was being chased by another man which caused him to be hit by the vehicle.
The man in his 30s, sustained injuries to his face and head and is being treated in hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The driver of the car is supporting police enquiries and no further action is being taken against him.
Police are treating the incident as an assault and would like to identify the second man who was chasing the injured man.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and who may have witnessed the incident or anyone leaving the area.
