An alert has been launched following an extremely concerning incident involving a female runner.
The incident occurred in the Malvern area.
A member of the public shared the following message on a Malvern messageboard:
“Just before 9pm this evening, I was on my way out for a run when 4 men in a white Suzuki Swift decided to shout rude and distasteful things at me as l walked past.
“They then did a loop and pulled over beside me as I ran along the main road towards retail through the link, and did the same thing again.
“I decided to turn around and walk home as I was spooked and for a third time they pulled over beside me at the traffic lights past the co op and did the same thing.
“They then pulled over outside May Link Chinese and all 4 of them got out the car in front of me and looked me up and down as I walked past, luckily there were other people around at the time.
“It’s a shame that in your own hometown you can’t even go out for a run and feel safe.
“It wasn’t even dark at that point it was still light. Please be aware and always share your location if you’re out running because you just never know.”
