In loving memory of Darrell John Mohan, who sadly passed away at Carders Court Nursing Home in Rochdale on 24th March 2024, aged 80 years.
Born in 1944, Darrell lived for the first 40 years of his life in Hereford and kept his strong Herefordshire accent all his life.
He was a well-known and much liked figure around town during his life there, as he was particularly known for his youth work at both Tupsley and Kingstone Youth Clubs during the 1970’s, where he was fondly known by all the kids, as Daz.
A name that was to stick for the rest of his life!
Darrell was a loving father to his two children Marc and Alison (Mo) by his first wife Pat, was a much-loved Grandad and a great granddad to his own family, and also to that of his later partner Glenis, with whom he lived for the last 40 years of his life, and her children Sharon, Alan and Neil and grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by all his close and extended family and his dear friends near and far.
Darrell’s funeral service will be held at Hereford Crematorium on Thursday 18th April 2024 at 10.15am.
This will be followed with a funeral reception afterwards at The Bay Horse Inn.
Bright attire welcomed.
Flowers welcome. Or donations to Cancer Research UK and The Alzheimer’s Association also gratefully received.
