A service of thanksgiving for the life of George Harris, who sadly passed away on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
Following National Service, George spent over 40 years working with farming communities in Hereford and Worcester through Avoncroft Cattle Breeders, Mid Border Breeders and Genus.
After his retirement George would spend his days tending his garden, attending dancing socials and enjoying holidays with his wife Mary.
George’s dedication to his garden could be appreciated by all. Every Spring and Summer the flowers he had grown from seed, the beautiful roses and vibrantly coloured dahlias would be admired by passers-by who would often stop to chat with George.
The service will take place at Hereford Crematorium on Thursday 30 January 2025 at 10.15 am.
Dress code – traditional.
