Six puppies, believed to be around 4-5 weeks old, were found abandoned in a black bin bag in a layby in Staithes Road, Hull on 11th July.

A motorist pulled over to take a closer look after he noticed the bag moving and found the poor pups inside. They were dehydrated and beginning to overheat, so they’re lucky to have been found when they were.

They’re now recovering at RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch and will be placed in foster homes over the coming weeks.

The puppies, three females and three males, are thought to be French Bulldog x Chihuahua cross breeds.
