Have you ever seen a cuter pair of pooches?!
This beautiful duo have been surrendered into our care due to no fault of their own, they have been loved and cherished by their previous family and this shows in their wonderfully affectionate characters.
We would absolutely love to try and secure them a forever home together but we do understand that this may not be possible.
Max & Audrey obviously get on very well but also have very different characters.
Max is a social butterfly. An adorable little chap, a little insecure when he is in new surroundings but he soon settles when he knows he is safe, he does shout a bit and tell you he hears something, but that’s only him getting used to new noises. He is fabulous with other dogs, but he is particularly fond of females and feels happier in their company.
Max loves his food and he is a cheeky bin raider if given the chance, even if it’s only a tissue, he likes to steal it. Max walks really well on the lead, he tends to run rather than walk, but he doesn’t pull.
He’s not a great cuddler but he loves to be near you and with you. When meeting people he loves to meet their dogs, but is indifferent to the owners.
The sweetest lad who has many lovable dachshund traits.
Audrey is a little more reserved, she likes to sit back and watch what’s going on until she feels totally comfortable. Audrey is super loving & affectionate and a true lap dog, as long as she’s with her special person/people then she’s happy.
Audrey isn’t a fan of boisterous dogs so if there were any resident dogs in the home they MUST be calm and gentle just like her, she doesn’t need dogs around her so a human only environment would be perfect (If we have no luck rehoming together).
Max & Audrey have lived with children previously but we haven’t experienced this ourselves so any children in the home would need to be 8 years old or over.
A cat free home would be best suited.
