A number of roads remain closed in Herefordshire this morning due to flooding.
Despite some of the routes below now being clear of water, we can only update them as open once Herefordshire Highways teams have carried out an inspection on each route.
Please avoid using these routes until Herefordshire Council have confirmed that they are open.
Significant flooding in the Ross-on-Wye and Lydbrook areas this morning means that a number of routes are impassable and will likely remain closed throughout today (Tuesday).
The River Wye has peaked and has fallen at Hereford, meaning that the majority of riverside paths are now clear and open. The Wye has peaked at Ross at 4.64 metres, but continues to rise at Lydbrook where it is currently 6.43 metres and rising, meaning that much of the village is underwater.
River levels also remain high on the River Lugg at Lugwardine (2.9 metres and rising) but are now starting to fall upstream towards Leominster.
