FLOODING | Twelve roads remain closed in Herefordshire on Friday following flooding – with a number of routes now open

Herefordshire Council has provided an update on the flooding situation in Herefordshire, with a number of routes now back open.

Twelve routes remain closed though, according to the council update at 9am this morning. 

The forecast for the coming days is mostly dry, so we expect the remaining routes that are closed to reopen soon.

A generally dry and bright day with periods of sunshine, this hazy at times. Breezy with gusty winds, especially over the hills, though much milder than on Thursday. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Dry to start the evening but cloud increasing from the west with patchy showery overnight, this generally easing. Staying breezy and mild. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Saturday:

Murky start with low cloud, gradually lifting to reveal some sunny intervals. Some drizzle possible at times but largely dry. Remaining breezy and feeling mild, especially in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Sunday. Colder with the odd shower on Monday mixed with sunny intervals. Cold start to Tuesday with hazy sunshine, rain arriving later.
