A number of road closures are in place across Herefordshire this morning — with further rainfall affecting parts of the county today.
Rain and hill snow is expected to move north across the county throughout the day and become heavy at times.
The following roads are closed due to flooding:
- C1120, Moreton On Lugg
- Newtown Lane, Newtown
- C1122 Marden
A flood alert is also in force on the River Lugg to the south of Leominster — with levels still high between Sutton St Nicholas and Hereford / Lugwardine.
Hereford FC will hold a pitch inspection at 11.30am this morning to see if their National League North fixture against Marine this evening at Edgar Street can go ahead.
