Temperatures have dropped as low as -5c in places overnight, meaning that some routes are very icy, especially routes that have seen flooding over recent days.

A very cold start with freezing fog patches lingering and a few wintry showers. Brighter through the afternoon with sunny spells. Another cold day. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Turning cloudier on Friday with some rain and hill snow. Murky start on Saturday with rain and drizzle at times then brighter spells into Sunday. Cold start then becoming milder.
