From the Environment Agency:

River levels are starting to rise at the Leintwardine river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall that has fallen overnight.

Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected from 11:00 today, 25/08/2020. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Teme, River Onny and River Corve and their tributaries.

Locations that may be affected include Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Knighton and Ludlow. The weather forecast remains unsettled with further rain possible over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 17:00 on 25/08/2020, or as the situation changes.
