National Star, one of Herefordshire’s leading charities, has launched a summer recruitment drive for new care and support workers.
The charity’s long-term living provision for young adults with disabilities, has a range of full-time and part-time care and support worker roles, including senior positions, that it is looking to fill.
National Star in Hereford already employs over 70 people, as education care and support workers, tutors, specialist speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists as well as maintenance and housekeeping staff.
New team members are needed to work as care and support workers at the charity’s long-term living provision on Ledbury Road in the city.
National Star’s current staff bring a broad range of skills to the workplace gained from working in a range of previous industries including retail, hospitality, early years education and healthcare. Although previous experience of working with people with disabilities is desirable, it is not essential for many roles.
