Your Herefordshire can exclusively reveal plans for a zip wire service to link Bobblestock to Belmont.
The Zip Wire will stretch almost two miles long and will cross the River Wye just north of the Hunderton (Great Western Way) Bridge.
The aim of the zip wire is to cut congestion for those looking to cross the city and if successful, further routes could be put in place, including a route for vehicles to be lifted across the city.
Speeds on the Zip Wire will reach up to 100mph meaning that you can travel the two miles at incredible speed and save yourself from sitting in the awful Hereford traffic that clogs up our streets.
The ‘Park and Zip’ will officially open on 1st August and is expected to transport up to 2000 people from Bobblestock to Belmont and vice versa per day.
