Aldi has just unveiled its most extensive collection of pigs in blankets to date featuring a range of unique offerings.
Shoppers on the hunt for the ultimate festive side are in luck, as along with some returning favourites, Aldi is welcoming brand-new additions to store this Christmas, including a quirky Pigs in Blankets Yorkshire Pudding Wrap.
This offering comes following the news that Aldi launched the nation’s first Bottomless Pigs in Blankets Restaurant last week, with pig in blanket enthusiasts flocking to the London pop-up to sample Aldi’s tasty range. And with the supermarket predicting to sell 43 million pigs in blankets over the 2023 festive season – it’s no wonder that the one-week-only restaurant proved popular!
Brand new for 2023 is the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap with Pigs in Blankets (£4.99, 391g).
This tasty treat combines two succulent sausages wrapped in flavoursome smoky bacon nested in a deliciously buttery Yorkshire pudding wrap – the ultimate festive snack! Available from 30th November.
The Specially Selected Pigs in Blankets Inspired Quiche (£2.99, 400g) is the ultimate addition to any festive spread. Rich butter enriched short crust pastry is perfectly complimented by real sausage and bacon pieces to create a party food staple.
This product has already had shoppers in a frenzy, with Facebook users dubbing it ‘dreamy’ and ‘delicious’[1]. Available now.
Shoppers will be delighted to hear the popular Giant Yorkshire Pudding Pig in Blanket (£4.99, 380g) is returning to stores this season. Boasting a whopping 60cm pig in blanket made from British pork, this luxurious pig in blanket sits inside a large Yorkshire pudding. Available from 14th December.
Along with these party-perfect pig in blanket offerings is a further selection of new additions to the range including the Specially Selected Brie & Cranberry Candy Cane Pig in Blankets (£2.99, 248g), Specially Selected Pork, Maple & Chestnut Chipolatas Wrapped in Bacon (£2.39, 247g) and the non-meat-eaters’ dream Plant Menu Ultimate Vegan Pigs in Blankets (£2.99, 228g).
