Herefordshire MP’s Jesse Norman and Bill Wiggin both voted against a motion put forward by the Prime Minister this evening to delay Brexit until the end of June or beyond.
The motion was however passed and signalled a victory for under fire PM Theresa May. May will now approach the European Union for an extension to Article 50.
Both Herefordshire MP’s are believed to want a decision on Brexit to be made prior to the original deadline of 29th March. That now seems increasingly unlikely.
