Two Herefordshire schools have been forced to close today, due to a burst water main affecting water supplies.
Fairfield High School and Peterchurch Primary School are both closed today, due to a burst water main affecting water supplies at both schools.
A spokesperson for Fairfield High School said:
“Urgent Notice! School is closed today!
“At present school has no water due to a burst water main in the local area, which is not expected to be fixed until this afternoon.
“As this means this no toilets or cooking facilities so the school must close.
“Students can access work in the normal way on Google Classroom, Doctor Frost Maths and reading.”
Welsh Water teams are currently in the area working to fix the issue.
More updates later.
