Police confirm a body has been recovered from a wooded area near Sainsbury’s in Hereford this lunchtime.
From West Mercia Police:
“We received a call at around 12.15pm today (Tuesday 19 May) with the concern for the welfare of a man near Pomona Place in Hereford.
“Emergency services attended and, sadly, a man was found deceased.
“At this time his death is not being treated as suspicious.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said:
“We were called to Pomona Place, Hereford at 12.15pm.
“Two ambulances and a paramedic officer responded to the scene. Sadly, a man was confirmed deceased.”
