Plans for vaccine passports to be launched to enter large venues such as nightclubs in England have been axed, Health Secretary Sajid Javid confirmed this morning.
The Health Secretary confirmed the plans when speaking on the BBC’s Andrew Marr show this morning, in a move that is likely to give a boost to the hospitality sector where there were major concerns about a drop in footfall if vaccine passports were introduced.
Plans for vaccine passports are going ahead in Scotland, with Wales also looking at introducing them.
