Non-essential retail is expected to be given the go ahead to reopen in all tiers, when England reverts from a national approach to COVID-19 restrictions, back to a more localised one, according to reports in many of tomorrow’s papers.
Other details that are emerging this evening ahead of the official announcement tomorrow are as follows…..
- Amateur sports resume
- Cinemas closed in Tier 3
- Household mixing banned indoors in Tier 2 and 3 again. Rule of six in Tier 1
- Church services/gyms reopen all tiers
- 11pm curfew in Pubs and restaurants with 10pm last orders. Pubs/restaurants takeaway only in Tier 3. Open in Tier 2 if they serve meals.
With COVID-19 infection rates close to double the level they were at when we entered the national lockdown in Herefordshire, it is likely that Herefordshire will be placed under tougher restrictions, with Tier 2 probably the most likely outcome at present.
