A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found with serious injuries in Worcester on Tuesday evening (1 September).
Officers were called to Wylds Lane in Worcester shortly after 9pm following reports that a man had been found with life threatening injuries inside a property.
The 42-year-old man, who we believe to be Damian Buczek, was taken to hospital and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he sadly died.
Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher from the Major Investigations Unit said: “This is a tragic incident which has resulted in a man losing his life, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
“We understand that an incident of this nature will cause unease locally, and we are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish exactly what happened.
“We are releasing an image of Damian as we continue to build a picture of his movements in the days and hours before his death.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw Damian between last Monday (31 August) and Tuesday to please get in touch.
“If you were in the Wylds Lane area during this period and have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which may assist our enquiries, please take a look and get in touch with us if you have anything that could be relevant.”
