Officers investigating a sexual assault at Lakefest Festival in Ledbury are appealing for information.

On Saturday (9 August), between 10pm and 10.30pm, a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the main stage area.

The man, who was described as in his 30s, lifted her skirt and then sexually assaulted her.

He was said to be white, around 5’7” tall of a slim build, with brown hair, a brown beard and small moustache.

He was wearing a green shirt, black trousers and a silver ring on his finger.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident or about anyone who matches this description.

If you think you might have also been a victim to a similar incident at Lakefest, please get in contact with police. Officers are here to help.

It is thought some people who attended the festival might be from outside of our force area, so officers ask for this appeal to be shared with anyone who you know was at the event over the weekend.
