A body has been found in the search for a man who entered the River Severn near Gloucester Docks on Thursday 20 November.
Police were called at around 10.20am with a report that a man had entered the water near the Old Prison and not resurfaced.
Officers were supported by the National Police Air Service and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service in the search for the man, and a body has now been recovered from the river near Hempsted.
Formal identification has not yet taken place. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Severn Area Rescue Association said:
CALLOUT At 10:52am, the SARA Sharpness crew were deployed to assist Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service with the search for a male, last seen entering the water near the old Prison in Gloucester.
Once on scene, a boat was launched, and our crew conducted searches of the River Severn, alongside the Fire Service and Police Helicopter.
Sadly, a body was located during the search.
The thoughts of the entire team at SARA are with the family and friends of the man at this difficult time.
