Emergency services are responding to a significant fire in Herefordshire this afternoon.

The blaze involves a vehicle in the Bush Bank area of the county.

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews are at the scene.

The incident is still ongoing. The smoke can be seen from the A4110 Canon Pyon Road.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Three Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Leominster, Hereford and Bromyard Fire Stations – plus the water carrier from Leominster were called at 13:08 on 30 April to a large vehicle on fire between Hope-under-Dinmore and Westhope Common.

“One tractor was completely involved in fire but buildings were not involved. The fire was fought by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereel jets. The incident is ongoing.”
