Emergency services are currently in attendance at a serious incident at Shobdon Airfield.

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police are all in attendance and the airfield is likely to remain closed for some time.

The incident occurred earlier this morning.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called to an incident at Shobdon Airfield at 10.07 this morning and have one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham in attendance. More details will follow when available.”
