Emergency services have been called to an incident involving two trains in Mid Wales this evening.
British Transport Police said that emergency services were responding to ‘a low-speed train collision involving two trains’.
The incident involves the 6.31pm service from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and the 7.09pm service from Machynlleth to Shrewsbury.
Your Herefordshire understands that the collision has occurred near Tallerdig in Powys.
Dyfed-Powys Police and in attendance, as well as Fire and Rescue Service crews and also Paramedics.
The nearby A470 is also closed.
