A Herefordshire school has confirmed that it will be closed on Friday, due to an issue with electrics.

Weobley High School sent students home early on Thursday due to an electrical fault.

In an update sent to parents this evening, Mr Holder from Weobley High School said:

“Due to an electrical fault, the school will unfortunately remain closed tomorrow, Friday 20th June.

“If students have any online work to catch up with then they can complete this, if not, then please enjoy the sunshine.

“We hope to be back open on Monday and I will update you in due course.

“If, however there are further complications with the electricity then we will switch to remote learning.”
