Gloucestershire Police have confirmed that wanted man Brady Hickman has been arrested in the last hour.
After being located in the Stroud area at around 11.35am today (Sunday 14 November) he was arrested on suspicion of rape in connection with the serious sexual assault of an elderly woman in Gloucester in the early hours of Thursday (11 November).
Hickman, aged in his 30s, has been taken into police custody while enquiries continue.
Gloucestershire Police said:
“We would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal and helped us trace Hickman.
“However we ask everyone to now stop sharing the previous images as the case is active and it is extremely important that there is no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could prejudice future proceedings in any way.
“The victim continues to receive specialist support following the incident.
